| Tom Barr is a past president of the Administrators in Oncology/Hematology Assembly (AOHA). He was also an advisor to Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in the preparation of the 2000, 2001 and 2003 Cost Survey for Hematology/Oncology Practices and is the author of the Summary of Key Observations published by MGMA in the 2003 report. Prior to founding Oncology Metrics, Tom was the CEO and Executive Director of The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a past member of the Clinical Practice Committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, serves on the Strategic Planning Committee of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, and is widely published in the area of oncology measurement and management. Tom received his Masters in business administration from the University of South Carolina. |
